***An updated schedule has been posted. Note that the sheep show will now start at 1 (or shortly after that) on Saturday.

***Our Silent Auction is held Saturday evening. If you have items to donate, please drop them off when you register. We will also have a small live auction this year with some AMAZING items. Take a look at these two beautiful quilts donated by Belinda Stoughton of Misty Meadows Farm!

We have a couple and handpainted items, an adorable handmade 3 family birdhouse, and are currently working on one more big item!

Attendees will receive an email with reminders and details.

Safe travels, and we will see you soon!

Put on your chef hats and review your recipes! The cookoff ingredients this year are....(drumroll please...) Ground Pork (Windham Butcher Shop), Cabot Cheddar Cheese, and honey (Donaldson Family Farms). It will be fun to see what everyone comes up with!

Entries are still being accepted, but we can not guarantee that we will have the right sized t-shirt for you, from this point on (May 2). The order has to go to the printers ASAP. We always order extras, but there's no guarantee that you will get what you want.

The Franklin County Working Steers Club will be holding a work day on the grounds on Sunday, May 19. Other clubs are invited to attend.

The Boer Goat Kid4Kid Essay deadline is April 7th. For information about the Kid4Kid Progam contact Emily -  elwilliams812@gmail.com

                                          NEWS from NELE
The NELE Board of Directors is hard at work organizing this year's event. Here are a couple of highlights:

* Online entry form will be available on April 1st (maybe sooner....)
* This year's cookoff ingredients are: Ground Pork, Sharp Cheddar Cheese, and Honey. We can't wait to see what you will come up with for recipes!
* The contact us form has been removed from this website, due to the overwhelming multiple daily contacts from numerous individuals trying to sell all kinds of stuff we won't talk about! If you need us, please email us. nele.youth(at)gmail.com

Our Mission:

The mission of the Northeast Livestock Exposition (NELE) is to provide marketing, selling, and educational opportunities to local livestock producers and educate the public on the connection between local farms and their products.

The Maine Beef Producers, the Maine Sheep Breeders Association and the Boer Goat Breeders of Maine would like to thank everyone who attended the 2018 Northeast Livestock Expo.

The livestock expo draws beef cattle, sheep, Boer goats, rabbits, dairy cattle, and poultry for shows, youth events and auctions.

Twist of Fate will be joining us again this year. Please contact Jeremiah to order your supplies for the 2019 show season!

Dustin James will be doing photos again this year! Check out the slideshow below to see some of the great shots he takes!
